Mustang Boss

In 1969 the Classic Mustang was reaching the pinnacle of its horsepower and performance. But even as EPA and DOT was starting to put pressure on the automakers to reduce horsepower Ford reached in and pulled out the Boss 302 Mustang. They were feeling so much pressure at the time that it is widely believed that they underestimated the horsepower on the 69 Boss just to make it more accepted.
